FRAGILE AS A PROMISE

"Fragile as a Promise" examines fragility as a suspended state, drawing from Paul Poiret's liberated silhouettes and the precarious beauty of chandeliers. The bell-like form rejects rigid structure in favor of fluid containment, allowing the garment to hover around the body rather than restrain it.
Hanging crystal elements reference chandelier ornamentation, evoking tension between weight and lightness, adornment and collapse.
Influenced by natural systems, the garment presents fragility as an active condition, shaped by movement and external forces rather than stillness alone.

This design was crafted from recycled billboard vinyl that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
