Serena Bag

This bag was designed with surface manipulation and texture in mind. The Serena Bag features a faux leather in a champagne color which was quilted freehand. The quilting on the bag was created to mimic the wavy and naturalistic movement on bark and woodgrain. For the strap of the bag I used a gathering technique which involved creating two channels which string pulled through. The gathered detailing is a wonderful add on to the already textured bag. The Serena Bag is completed with a silky lining on the inside and a zipper closure. I designed this bag with a self-drafted pattern.
